I need a piece of advice. I love coffee and I can't go without it. Since I don't have a classic sedentary job and spend my working hours mainly in my car, I always have coffee stains on my clothes :). Would you advise me how to remove the coffee stains the most effectively?
don't worry, you're not the only one. And we have a few tips on how to remove coffee stains from your clothes quickly and easily.
Cold water If you have the option to rinse the fabric immediately in cold water. Cold water is very important in this case, since hot water make the stains become ingrained much more.
Lemon juice Lemon is a disinfectant. So drizzle the fabric with lemon and let it work for at least 10 minutes. Then clean it with lukewarm water or cloth.
Kitchen salt If you mix salt with water, apply it to the coffee stain and let it work for a while, the stain will disappear. Then just rinse the stain with cold water.
Vinegar Vinegar, similarly to lemon, disinfects, cleans and even preserves. Apply vinegar to the stain and let it work for a while. Then rinse it again with cold water and don't forget to wash it to remove the vinegar odor.
Baking soda Baking soda is a great helper in removing all types of stains on textiles. Mix the baking soda with water until a "jelly" is formed, apply it to the stain and let it work for hours, then rinse it with cold water.
Peroxide If you already have an older coffee stain on your fabric, then definitely usehydrogen peroxide along with glycerin, spray the stain with glycerin followed by peroxide. Let it work and rinse it in cold water. However, first of all, make sure peroxide won't react with the fabric so that you avoid damging it. You can try it with a smaller and less visible piece of the fabric.
In the latter case, you will sure be helped by a dry cleaners'.
